Can I bring my dog or other pets?
Unfortunately for health and safety reasons pets are not allowed in the food areas. On duty service dogs are welcome.
What is the cost of admission?
Admission is free!
Do food & beverage vendors accept credit or bank cards?
VISA will be accepted for selected items such as beverage tickets and Ribs that are ordered from within the beverage areas. Ribbers will only be accepting cash if you are buying your BBQ directly from them. There will be (6) ATM machines on site.
What other kinds of foods are available in addition to pork ribs?
Our BBQ vendors will also serve beef ribs, chicken, corn on the cob and one VEGAN truck! Plus there are other permanent establishments in Rocky Point Park for you to enjoy such as Pajo’s Fish & Chips and Rocky Point Ice Cream.
Will there by gluten free BBQ options?
Yes - Boss Hogs, Prairie Smoke & Spice, Misty Mountain BBQ, Smoke & Bones and Gator BBQ will all be serving their Ribs and Sauce which are all gluten free.
Are children allowed in?
ABSOLUTELY…this is a family event! All minors must be accompanied by an adult and there is also a family friendly beverage area too. To enter the family area, adults must be accompanied with some one under the age of 19.

How should I get to the event?
Limited parking will be available at Rocky Point Park, the Port Moody Soccer Fields located east of Rocky Point Park on Murray Street, and at the Port Moody Station (West Coast Express). As approximately 50,000 visitors are expected over the three days of the event, those attending are encouraged to take public transit or consider walking to Rocky Point Park after parking their vehicle elsewhere. Information on utilizing public transit in Port Moody can be found on Translink's website by clicking here.
Will there be shuttle buses running from another location to Rocky Point Park?
Yes, the City of Port Moody will be running a shuttle service from the Rec center every 30 mins.
Where can I sit and eat my BBQ ribs?
Rocky Point Park does offer some picnic tables and park bench seating. Also, within the two beverage areas, tables and chairs will be available to sit at and enjoy your BBQ so if you want to enjoy a cold beverage with your food then the beverage area is where you will want to grab your seat which will be available on a first come first serve basis. We have an additional 800 seats in the open area, OpenRoad Mazda Port Moody seating. Otherwise, feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets and set up your own picnic on the grass area.
What types of BBQ will you be serving in the Beverage areas?
A wide variety of BBQ will be available for purchase from Rib Runner’s from within the Beverage Areas including Half and Full Racks of Pork Ribs, Half BBQ Chicken, Beef Brisket Sandwiches, Full and Half Racks of Beef Ribs, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Baked Beans, 'Tators' and Coleslaw.
Will their be a safe ride home service?
Yes - between the hours of 8:30PM and 10:00 PM, please talk to a server or security officer and we will call a service for you.
